Why “Liminal Space”?

A liminal space is the in-between, the threshold between what was and what’s next. Many women seek therapy not because everything is falling apart, but because something inside is quietly asking for change. This practice is designed for that space: a calm, steady place to make sense of what you’re carrying, reconnect with what matters, and move forward with more clarity and self-trust.

My work is grounded, warm, and practical

My work is rooted in neuro-informed psychology, interpersonal neurobiology, positive psychology, and lifestyle science, with a strong focus on meaning, identity, and lasting change. I am particularly interested in the emotional and nervous system patterns that can arise during life transitions, especially when a woman might be functioning but not genuinely feeling well.
I combine evidence-based therapy with reflective, body-aware approaches to help you slow down, understand what’s happening beneath the surface, and build your ability to navigate life with greater stability.

How I work

Therapy with me is a collaborative and paced process. We focus on understanding your inner world, your patterns under stress, and what your nervous system is communicating, without rushing you or forcing a tidy narrative.
Depending on your goals and preferences, I may use approaches such as EMDR, schema-informed therapy, ACT, mindfulness-based and contemplative practices, and trauma-informed care. Sessions are tailored to your needs, and we regularly review what feels helpful.

What to expect

You can expect a space that is calm, respectful, and thoughtfully maintained. Some sessions are reflective and clarifying; others are practical and skills-focused. We work at a manageable pace, prioritising insight and practical change.
Many clients say they value having a space where they don’t have to “perform wellness”; they can simply be honest.

Experience and Training

I bring several decades of experience to this work, including my initial professional training and practice overseas, followed by my career in Australia. I am a Psychologist with the Psychology Board of Australia and a Board-Approved Supervisor, and I particularly enjoy supporting psychologists to develop strong foundations in formulation, ethical decision-making, and clear, thoughtful report writing.

My practice is guided by ongoing professional development in trauma-informed and neuro-informed psychological approaches, with a consistent focus on women’s mental health during life transitions. I am dedicated to reflective practice and frequently participate in supervision and ongoing education to keep my work ethical, current, and responsive.

If you’re in a season of change

If you sense that something inside you is quietly looking for a different way forward, remember you don’t have to figure it out on your own. I’m here to help.
